Lytle Creek League of Conservators/No Child Left Indoors DIG IT Program

Don’t know your brachiopod from your pelecypod? Want to find a piece of natural history that is 450 million years old? Come join our No Child Left Indoors event at Caesar Creek Visitor Center at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday October 20 for our own fossil hunt.  Discover one of the richest fossil deposits in the world for Ordovician fossils.

We will have a short introduction at the Visitors Center (located at 4020 N. Clarksville Road, Waynesville, Ohio) and a tour, then head out to the spillway to collect fossils. This program is suitable for children 5 years or older (and their accompanying adults, of course), but registration is limited and required. Please register  HERE.

Wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather, as this is an outdoor activity.

Lytle Creek League of Conservators/No Child left Indoors Volunteers continues their mission to reconnecting kids and adults to nature and this time it includes natural history!
