Blanchester's Downtown Streetscape Plan!

The Clinton County Regional Planning Commission and Energize Clinton County present the Blanchester Downtown Streetscape Plan. In the plan are creative and practical enhancements for downtown Blanchester, which will provide a more pedestrian-friendly and vibrant downtown. Additionally, there are some unique visualizations of ways that Blanchester could modify existing spaces and potentially create new spaces that would add options for more citizen and commercial activity in the downtown area.

All of these concepts are built upon the response from community members. In survey responses, Blanchester citizens said that improving the downtown is a 'very important' priority for the community. They see this as an opportunity to improve the quality of life for both existing businesses and residents, and as a way to enhance the attractiveness of the community to new businesses and residents. This plan presents and hopefully will inspire new opportunities for entertainment, commercial activity, tourism,  and other economic development opportunities for Blanchester.
