CLINTON COUNTY PARK BOARD AND LYTLE CREEK LEAGUE OF CONSERVATORS SPONSOR LYTLE CREEK PRAIRIE EVENT
This event has something for every age! Children can explore the prairie and its butterflies, spiders, flowers, and prairie grasses as well as the amphibian pond with its frogs, tadpoles and dragonflies. Each registered child will receive outdoor chalk and be encouraged to share their prairie and pond discoveries on the bike trail surface.
Adults will have an opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee and see native prairie plants in this four-acre restored prairie along the Lytle Creek Greenway and 4-C Bicentennial Trail. Local naturalist and County Park Board member, Bob Thobaben, will be on hand to answer questions.
The Lytle Creek League of Conservators and the Clinton County Park Board are partnering in pursuit of the goal of reconnecting kids and adults to nature.
