Clinton County Earth Day 2011!!
Clinton County's Earth Day celebration will be centrally located at the 3 Shelter Houses/Picnic Pavilions at Denver Park on April 16th starting at 9am.
There will be service projects taking place at: Denver Park, Galvin Park (across from the library), Southeast Neighborhood Park (at head of 4-C Path) and a Lytle Creek clean-up project.
No matter the age group, there is an opportunity for everyone to serve!

Throughout the morning and early afternoon there will be activities for all ages.
10am -- Children's activities (a Butterfly Gala and Terrarium Creation Program) presented by No Child Left Indoors (NCLI) and Clinton County Master Gardener Volunteers. Parents interested in participating with children in the Butterfly Gala should CLICK HERE or the Terrarium Creation Program, CLICKHERE to RSVP or call Lori Williams at (937) 725-3811.
11:30am -- presentations by Eric Davenport on Reptiles and the USDA will do a presentation on invasive insect species in Clinton County.
1pm -- Wind Power demonstration at the Nation Weather Service (on 134 South)
The Clinton County Parks district will be hosting hikes at Terrel Hanagan Park at 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm call Bob Thobaben at (937) 382-4739 for more information.
5:30pm -- Green Alliance Earth Day Dinner hosted by Clinton County Open Lands, Inc. at the General Denver Hotel. Call the General Denver at 383-4141 to RSVP.
