Lytle Creek League of Conservators/No Child Left Indoors volunteers and Cowan Lake and Ohio Division of Wildlife are partnering in pursuit of the goal of reconnecting kids to nature.  This is a great opportunity to introduce children to the lifelong activity of fishing.

Saturday, June 19, Bob Thobaben, local biologist, will lead a fishing event for children 14 and under.  Introduce your children to the fun activity of fishing at one of the Ohio’s most beautiful state parks.  All bait and fishing gear will be provided to the first 20 children registered. No experience is necessary and the event is FREE.  Anyone participating in fishing who is 16 or older, must have a 2010 fishing license. Please note that parents or adult companions must stay with the children during the event.  (And why would you not want to be part of the fun?)

We will meet at South Shore Marina located at 6742 SR 730.  The event begins at 8:00 and families are encouraged to bring a lunch and afterwards enjoy one of Clinton County's natural treasures.  For more information, call Lori Williams 725-3811 or RSVP via this Online Form.
