Join Jim O'Boyle, Park Ranger with the US Army Corps of Engineers, and No Child Left Indoors volunteers for a hike exploring owl habitat and experiencing the season as owls establish their nesting territories. The hike will take place
Saturday, December 5. Children and their adult escorts will meet at BooksNMore at 7 p.m. for an introduction to the Owl Moon. From there we will caravan to our hiking destination, Clinton County Park, Anliot-Davidson Woods.
Dress for the weather, bring a flashlight, and wear rugged shoes or boots. To register, please call Lori Williams @ 725-3811.
The photo above is from one of our previous hikes where we successfully called in a barred owl within 20 feet of our hiking group and the group immediately sighted their flashlights on the welcomed guest.
